Over charges for tons of test not ncessary we have a 13 year old Chihuahua who has a collapsing trachea which we have been informed is very usual and a lot of Chihuahuas he had a bad tooth that needed antibiotics other than that it was fine we got charged for a heart test bloodwork comprehensive exam and the vet never even looked in his mouth so how he knew he had a bad tooth I don’t know he gave him amoxicillin which made him sick for 10 days straight the cost was 704 90 we took him back after 8 days the vet set on the flo... read more
Very caring I love the staff at Rosemont Pet Hospital, I wouldn't go anywhere else. It is always clean and never has that "animal hospital" smell to it. They were very sympathetic when I had an animal that needed to be put to sleep.
18 years of great care for 3 dogs and 2 cats The people writing the bad reviews are either competitors or just foul tempered naturally. I am really sorry that we are moving away because for 18 years and 3 dogs and 2 cats, Rosemont has been our vets. We've had to board our dogs repeated lately because of work being done on our house and I've seen with my own eyes our dogs being walked when I drove by on my way to other places in the neighborhood. Rosemont Veterinary Hospital ROSEMONT PET HOSPITAL IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT!! It is now called Rosemont Veterinary Hospital and is owned by the amazing Dr. O'Dwyer and her husband. I took my first dog there about 15 years ago, and did not have a good experience. Dr. Sallen misdiagnosed my dog and gave me treatment options in hundreds of dollars. worst experience at a pet hospital thought this place was ok when taking my pet for routine checks, but when he got seriously ill I realized how much more they love money than they do animals. The doctor I talked to was very cold and showed very little compassion for my dying pet, which I heard screaming from behind the door before he was given to me. Also, they make you pay first before giving your pet back. I definitely do not recommend this place.

This was my first time bringing in my puppy to see Dr. O’Dwyer. She was fantastic with my pup, and her staff members were kind and helpful, going out of their way to help answer all of our questions. I have been bringing all my cats to Rosemont since 1996. I’m so happy with my current vet, Dr. O’Dwyer!!! And all the techs, front staff, and veterinary assistants are always pleasant, helpful and upbeat and friendly. Dr. O’Dwyer is kind, compassionate, a great doctor, and funny too - not to mention nice. I brought my 11/2 year old cat Ollie in, and he’s very overweight.
