If I could, I would give Dr. Crombie 0 out of 5. She was dismissive and arrogant in her patient notes said that all my pain was due to “anxiety & stress” and continued to tell me I had GERD. I actually had chronic cholecystitis and my gallbladder needed to be removed. When I questioned her and told her my other doctors agreed it was my gallbladder she said “but are they surgeons” as if her UConn degree makes her any more intelligent. She honestly was horrible. I recently had a hernia procedure done with Dr. Crombie. She had the best bed side manner and was so caring and made sure I knew what she was planning on doing with the procedure and reassured me all was going to be fine. It was very comforting and caring. She came in to see me three times before my procedure and did not make me wait. I was in good hands. Very satisfied
I had a consultation today for a potential gallbladder surgery. Dr. Crombie was absolutely delightful! She was extremely empathetic ( what you want from a surgeon), extremely thorough, and so personable. I highly recommend her!
