Huuuge variety of gorgeous plants, all way better quality than we usually see at Home depot and whatnot. We only had a small potted plant purchase for our deck, and the man helping us was still so attentive. Super knowledgeable and I just wish I had a big enough yard to buy some of their trees. Will definitely return.
At nursery today - both lots full - nursery unable to cope with volume of customers. Line of at least 50 customers with plants in carts waiting. Front end needs to expand and automate to cope with this volume. Estimated wait time even for soil and mulch supplies well over 2 hrs. Still letting cars in but if it were me I would hold incoming traffic past about half of parking lot capacity so as to avoid enormous wait times. I had a fantastic experience at Rosedale Garden Center, all thanks to Enrique! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. Whether it was about plant care, soil types, or the best options for my space, he had great advice and never made me feel rushed. The store itself is excellent—well-stocked, beautifully organized, and full of healthy plants. Enrique’s expertise and friendly attitude made the whole visit a pleasure. Highly recommend!

Does it get mobbed during certain times of year? Yes. Are some of the seasonal employees less knowledgeable than others? Yes. The prices are competitive but this is not a big box store. It’s the largest nursery open to the public in the area, some of the reviewers are not realistic with their one star reviews. I’ve struggled to get attentive service at large nurseries and small ones. I visit other nurseries locally and in Connecticut and Rosedale has the most comprehensive selection year round.
