Two weeks ago, following a nasty fall, I spent most of the day in your Emergency Dept. From the moment my wife and I arrived the service was extraordinary. Every single person was professional and caring, but none more so than the doctor attending us, Vincent. His 'bedside manner' demonstrated both empathy and skill. He has great future ahead of him. I dearly hope the required funding for Rosebud Hospital comes to fruition and both the hospital and, in particular, the emergency department remain part of the Mornington Penins... read more

Initially, my family and I were unsure what was wrong, but I developed severe symptoms consistent with bacterial tonsillitis. My throat became extremely swollen, to the point where I struggled to eat, drink, speak, and breathe properly for a couple of days before the symptoms worsened significantly. On the evening of 28/4, I experienced severe stomach pain, nausea, and fever following a consultation earlier that day. The fact that you can turn up with an injury to a small hospital in a small community during peak tourist season on New Year’s Day, wait a few hours, get an x-ray, expert assistance, thoughtful care and leave without having to pay a cent - this rules. Big thanks to the staff at ED tonight.

The trolleys are so uncomfortable and painful as the sheet falls down. The mattress is way too thin also. But the same thing is for Frankston hosp... read more

I went to emergency today with a knee injury. The intake staff and nurses were lovely, had an X-ray, saw an absolutely wonderful Doctor who explained what he thought was the problem, a script for anti-inflammatories and back home within a couple of hours. The Government should be spending money on this wonderful hospital that is a real asset to the community. With more than a 30 minute drive to Frankston, this hospital needs to be able to meet the demands of the community by offering all services. The health of the populatio... read more
