Called in advanced to see if an emergency pediatrician was available they said yes, so I drove 150km each way. Waited 1.5hr for them to tell me sorry there is no pediatrician available. Amazing!
To the Emergency Department. I had to attend the Emergency Department on the 4th of December afternoon with abdominal pain. From the start to finish, all the staff: front triage, nurses, radiology staff, absolutely outstanding care at this hospital is greatly appreciated and will never forget. We are a group of six girls on holiday, all just turning 18, and we came here because my friend had her contact lens stuck in her eye. She was in serious pain — her eye was extremely irritated — and we were really worried. We explained everything clearly, and even though the hospital was quiet with only one other person waiting, they didn’t even look at her eye or check her at all.
