My mother, a geriatric patient, had been a patient of Dr. Horan for many, many years. Initially, mom was happy with her. As of the last few years, however, her demeanor has become quite nasty. She seems bothered during the appointments. She was condescending toward my mother and admonished her for health issues she was dealing with, essentially blaming her for not eating right or staying active enough. His staff never even put me on the schedule at the hospital for a colonoscopy. After starving for a day and drinking that nasty potion, the day before the test, I called the hospital for a time to be there and they told me I was never even put on the schedule. To top it off,i had to pay a friend to drive me an hour there, sit with me and take me home which never happened so I'm out the money I paid and my friend cancelled his plans for me. Called for standard procedure. Couldn’t get in for two months. He never spoke to me. Didn’t even say hello when he came in to room for procedure. After procedure, he didn’t even go into the room where my husband was waiting; he literally just stuck his head in the door, said a quick few words about my condition then left and shut the door. My husband couldn’t even ask questions. What a joke!
This guy talks to you for maybe 5 minutes and it's usually talking over you, he doesn't listen or try to help, only push his meds on you and basically treats you like absolute trash. How this guy hasn't lost his license is beyond me.
Dr. Veldman literally saved my life. I went to see her as I had extreme fatigue and no other issues. She did a full examination and 'felt' a mass and immediately connected me with a fantastic team of doctors. I was diagnosed with colon cancer. All the doctors I have seen since have the highest regard for Dr. Veldman, as do I. She is the best.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Limon 18 years. I had some issues with back pain and inflammation that I thought could be kidney issues. I explained to her my symptoms and she ordered lab work. One of the nurses called with the results. She was condescending when providing the results of my EGFR, which was below range and indicates kidney disease.. This woman should find another profession (preferably in a lab where she is not dealing directly with patients). She lacks tact and compassion. Every honest review on this page referencing how verbally combative, uncaring and condescending she is couldn't be more accurate. She is extremely rough around the edges and seems to be a very angry person in general. Inpatient at Amita Mercy recently. For 2 days saw NOTHING from this Dr until he came to discharge me. No helpful advice, not even a well wish. Never asked me a how I doing. This person obviously has not heard of the Hippocratic oath as it pertains especially to the medical field, but for just for being a decent human being. Please reconsider this field you are in. Today did me far more harm than it did good.
