Love Dr. Gager! She's always taking time to ask if I have any extra concerns even at the wellness visits. She throughly explains what she is doing and why. Her staff is also pretty quick about responding to the MyChart messages. She's even helped me out with adjusting the billing to reduce costs where appropriate.
Dr Gager was pleasant and attentive when I had an appointment with her in person. Subsequent attempts to get medical assistance and responses via the phone or portal are extremely unsatisfactory. I received very delayed or no response at all to numerous messages for guidance, which is extremely frustrating when you are having a medical emergency. Dr Gager is the best Dr I have ever dealt with. Very thorough in her explanations, and has excellent ideas for treatments and prevention. Highly recommended
During my physical, Dr Gager performed pap smear. Unfortunately, due to insufficient amount of liquid taken, the lab wouldn't conduct the test. Yet, 2 weeks later my insurance and I were sent a bill for the services not performed. When I called, Amy (the nurse) wasn't very helpful to resolve the situation. 01/12/2021 - to this day, year later, I’m getting bills for this service.
Dr. Gager is a good doctor when she is available. Unfortunately she never seems to get my messages. When my family and i had the flushe had said she would leave me a prescription to fill. I would only have to call the offic eto have it sent over, which even though i called they never sent it. She saw my mom a week later and sent the prescription when i no longer needed it.
