Beautiful waterfalls, quite easy to hike. The water is deep enough to swim, but it can be cold. (I visited in June). In the afternoon the water is warmer, but it was still cold. Maybe later in the summer is more suitable to swim. There is also parking on the other side of the Skyline Drive so no need to worry about that.
This is a tough but good hike. I recommend having a hiking pole or trekking poles because it's very rocky. For part of the path it'll seem like you're rock climbing vs just hiking. Don't do this hike if you have issues with your ankles due to all of the rocks. The hike will definitely take at least 3 hours so make sure you have enough time and sunlight to finish it, and make sure you have enough water and snacks. It's a workout for your quads, hamstrings, ankles, and hips for sure
