Founded in 1904, Rose has wrought many beautiful works that decorate Cleveland. My favorite piece is the gorgeous Art Deco screen "Muse with Violin," based upon Josephine Baker and which is on display at the Cleveland Museum of Art. As part of the unparalleled Jazz Age exhibit put on by CMA, I was fortunate to be able to tour Rose and hear a fascinating lecture by Bob Rose (grandson to founder Martin Rose) who currently runs the company.
