Tiny cottages with just the right amount of space for 2. Loved having a kitchen & small dining area for eating in & enjoying morning coffee. Super clean & comfortable. Heater worked great which was a nice surprise after long days of hiking. Plenty of hot water. Great location away from the Bar Harbor traffic, but close enough to enjoy town & park areas. Best affordable option in the area we could find, and I was pleasantly surprised how charming these cottages are! Rooms were very clean, with closet space, a mini fridge, microwave, some silverware and plates, small TV, and AC/heat for both the main room and heat for the bathroom. Lovely hanging plants and window boxes. There were also communal grills and picnic tables that we didn't use, but it's good to have the option!
Close to all the action in Bar Harbor, yet far enough away that it didn’t feel congested. Located right next to a couple restaurants and a coffee shop. Loved the location and the cottage #2 was exactly what we needed for our family of 4. If we go back, I would stay here again! Thanks David and Yvonne.
My wife and I feel that this is the best place to stay in Acadia. It's quiet and restful. The cottages are well-appointed and spotless. An up-to-date laundry with Speed Queen appliances is available for guests, as are several outdoor grill and sitting areas. The location seals the deal. An outstanding lobster pound and bakery are just a few steps away And an easy drive of five minutes takes us to Mainely Meat restaurant and Udder Heaven Ice Cream for the best barbecue and ice cream on the island.
