Highly recommend taking a partner massage class with Rose! Our class was well personalized to our interests/needs. She touched on great info about anatomy and massage safety for both people. Rose also had us explore options for stretch and movement for the massage receiver. Her experience in massage, exercise, and dance, make for a fabulous teacher who is knowledgeable, patient, and a delight to work with!
I was struggling with really painful stiffness in my hip and low back for months that I could not figure out how to solve. I went and saw Rose and she worked with so much care and intention she had me feeling better in the first 20 minutes of my appointment! Rose’s couples massage class was really wonderful! It was a mixture of pre-planned content Rose brought along with specialized content to accommodate some of the focus areas that my fiancé and I asked Rose to help us with. This lesson did a lot to help me add variety to my massage techniques, better read my partners bodies wants and needs, and also helped with giving me more tools for massage that don’t exhaust my fingers as readily. Rose is an extremely skilled and intuitive practitioner. She creates a safe and welcoming environment for her clients. She greatly helped me with physical pain, and works great with injuries. I am a dancer and I love that she is also a movement specialist. She knows how to work with dancer's bodies. She has a healing touch and is extremely skilled in all modalities she uses. Rose is an incredible massage therapist. Her understanding of the body and movement is so key to healing injuries. I've suffered from all kinds of back issues due to herniated discs, tendonitis, etc. and it's so hard to find massage therapists that actually understand the body.
