One of the best things about Rose Bowl events is the tailgating that happens during the day. It's a great place to arrive early (and beat traffic), park on the golf course and start the party early.

They have a path for runners & hikers that loops around the Rose Bowl crossing the golf course, too equalling to a #5k. Very popular with locals.
