About this business

About Us: Located on Farm to Market Road in Bow, WA, Rosabella's is a country-style bakery and gift shop tucked inside a red barn next to a 50-acre orchard of apples, pears and berries. It's owned by orchardists Rose and Alan Merritt, and it's the kind of place where you can't help but feel you've stepped back in time to a life at a slower pace. Have a seat. Take a load off. It's what Rose would want you to do. Rosabella's was thrilled to be featured in Sunset magazine, on Evening Magazine and Gardening by Cisco. In fact, the... read more

Wonderful Roadside Bakery & Gift Shop I, too, am shocked at the rude comments made about Rosabella's and the proprieters. My family and I stop at Rosabella's for their wonderful deep dish apple pie and/or their apple cider donuts whenever we take a trip north from Seattle. Yes, the bakery prices are high, but this is not a commercial bakery--it's a small apple orchard trying to survive by the addition of the bakery cafe and gift shop crowded with treasures. Perhaps too many "accidents" with small and rambunctious children ha... read more

DO NOT Take Children Here! AVOID THIS AWFUL PLACE! VERY RUDE people. I took my grandchildren here to pick apples after running across their website and we were very disappointed. These people obviously do like children and were rude to us and to them. We drove almost 2 hours to get there and before they would allow us to your the padlocked porta potty, we had to spend money. I was shocked. Before you can pick apples, you have to listen to a tutorial on how to pick apples, which was fine, but the owner kept demanding that my ... read more

Creepy! It's true. This is a shop out of a horror movie. Alfred Hitchcock would love this creepy place. It's too bad too because this is such a lovely area to visit. Try some of the shops in nearby Edison or take a drive up Chuckanut drive instead.

Rosabella's Garden Bakery not that great and has a very rude owner I can't say I am surprised that there are many bad reviews of Rosabellas out there. I don't think I have ever entered a place of business and felt so unwelcome. It is a lovely setting and you feel you have come across a gem, until you go inside and meet the owner Rose. She tries to dictate everything that you do, she is rude, and has no customer service skills. You should hear how she speaks to her husband. I don't how he can stand being around her, much less... read more

Overpriced and bad customer service. The first time we were there, a few months ago, we thought the place was cute, had lots of great gift items, but the bakery was overpriced.Today we stopped by and before we went in I took some pictures of their flower garden. When we headed back and got to the front door we were greeted by Rose with "can I help you?" I said "no thanks" and thought that was an odd way to greet customers. As we were about to go in she then says "what are you going to do with all those pictures you took?" I ... read more

Rosabella's doesn't like Kids I agree with the other reviews. Very unfriendly atmosphere when you bring your children. I brought my sister and nephew who were visiting from the midwest and the owner made it clear she didn't want my nephew to touch anything. She kept her eye on him and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Best Place to take Grandchildren! I am very shocked at the rude comments left regarding Rosabella's Garden! I have taken my grandchildren there every year since they opened, and at Merritt's Apple Farm prior to that. They are amazing, generous and kind people. My grandchildren ask every year when we are going! I do holiday shopping there as well, and enjoy wonderful trips down memory lane wandering through the store.
