I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the care my aunt received while under the supervision of Roper St. Francis Home Health during a scheduled in-home physical therapy visit. I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received from Roper St. Francis Home Health. My mother was receiving physical therapy in our home when she suddenly became ill while under the therapist's care and began showing symptoms of a stroke. My 16-year-old son and 13-year-old nephew were the only other people home at the time. Stay away from Roper Home Health Hospice. Their customer service and care during our very hard time was absolutely appalling. They never came in person to have a conversation while my mother was in the hospital. They allowed her to be transferred home without having anyone ready to help us at home. We did not get the medications we were promised because the case manager showed up so late at night that the pharmacy was closed.
