I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Rootz Bar Cafe. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Rootz Pasta with grilled shrimp, but the shrimp were clearly seasoned with jerk seasoning instead of simply being grilled. That is completely unacceptable, especially considering that some customers may have allergies or dietary restrictions. For starters I'm not sure why the potato salad is sweet. Jamaican potato salad tho. The rice tasted smokey and the fry chicken burnt .

It was my first time at the restaurant, recommended to me by my son, I had questions and my questions were received with attitude by the young lady who was at the front, however the food was great and worth the wait. Thank you
I give this one star due to me ordering during lunch hours on 6/28/2026 by door dash and I paid for snapper that was for 21.00 and a salmon pasta with bang bang shrimp for 19.99 now this is a place I never eaten from. Once I receive my receipt I seen where the price was changed a I contacted door dash and they advised me to contact the restaurant due to they are the ones that changed the price.
