So cool, never really experienced such a laid back restaurant. The food was impeccable the staff was kind and the wine was delicious.
Rootstock is a gem! Just make sure to show up early if you don’t want to wait too long :)
The quality of food has gone down in the past few months, either it’s over salted or takes longer than usual to be served. I also wish they did more pasta shapes, the variety is pretty limited to one.
We arrived at 6:30pmand didn’t leave the restaurant until 10:15pm. This is a restaurant that has amazing food, but desperately in need of a reservation system; the space doesn’t support standing around and waiting. The hostess was loud and rude, at times even grabbing my arm to direct me somewhere to stand (there is so little space, and you have to either stand in front of bathrooms or in front of their kitchen, which they aren’t happy about either).
