I left the Cape two weeks ago with a self-styling cut and foil from Genny who was trained by Lenny. I just had to call them today to say that I am over the moon with happiness that my hair is finally looking wonderful with no fuss or angst by me! Lots of compliments too. The foils are food grade; not chemicals and as a retired teacher I chose Roots because of Lenny's dedication to non-toxic products and the training that is done by him. I come to the cape every summer but this year, I had to come earlier for a funeral (which meant I didn't have time to see my usual hair dresser before heading north)... not only did Lenny (the owner) call in a hairdresser for me (Amanda) but Amanda gave me one of the best haircuts/colors l've had in years! Before I left NYC, I used to go to very high end salons...Amanda could give those guys a run for their money! Cannot recommend Roots enough and I've already made a follow up appt for before I leave. My first visit to Roots was wonderful...I've been looking for a healthier way to pamper my hair and I found the perfect salon. Gemma's color and cut were exactly what I needed! Thank you...I'll be back!
