Very caring facility, tons of animals.
We couldn’t be more grateful for our child’s experience at Roots. She was struggling for her life when she went there, and three months later, she emerged having accomplished tremendous growth and emotional balance. Roots has a caring, competent, and communicative staff, talented therapists, well thought out programs, and a wonderful semi pastoral environment with animals and a pond. Our daughter benefitted enormously from the program.
My daughter was there for 70 days and the staff treated her with great care. She bonded with her counselor and enjoyed the activities. She loved the horses and other animals on site as well. The family weekend was amazing! I highly recommend Roots!
4 years ago my mom sent me to roots renewal ranch. I was 15 years old and was the 3rd ever patient. struggling with substance and mental health. I’m now almost 20 years old. Roots gave me a new experience. A huge difference from in patient or an outpatient clinic. Roots felt like a home. I want to start this review with a couple facts.... our daughter goes by he/him and has chosen a gender neutral name to go by, while this isnt something we like or necessarily agree with, we did A LOT of research on the subject and discovered that the best approach for her mental health was to respect her choice so around her we use he/him, the chosen name and i am her biggest supporter. This doesn't cement her in this choice.... this let her know that her parents love and support her and gives her the space to feel comforta... read more
