My lady friend & I went to the Roots restaurant in Almont over the weekend. This place is a hidden gem; talk about quaint spot in a beautiful small town. The service is fantastic and the food is really good. But what surprised me the most, was the price point. The ticket for 2 people was exceptional; a great bang for your buck.
Waitress was helpful in choosing our lunch as this was our very first visit. Food was plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back for another taste of something else from the menu.
It was great! We had the brisket jalapeño popper egg rolls, which were not sparse on the brisket, and I had the smoked chicken and waffles, and my bf had notcho mac and cheese. Our food was absolutely delicious from start to finish! Our waitress Casey was great, cheery, and attentive. Will come back for sure!!
