It was a wonderful experience having Jake Nager consult on the health of the trees around our Brooklyn home. He was very pleasant, punctual, professional, and provided fascinating and useful information. Additionally, he was generous with his time, even with the rainy weather on the day of his visit. It's tricky working in our Brooklyn townhome backyard settings, but Jake and his team creatively solved our problem with some downed limbs that then also required some thinning and shaping to ensure it doesn't happen again. Thoughtful advice, reasonable pricing, reliable scheduling, I can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend!

I had Jake come out to try to save a beloved, yet dying tree. He immediately spotted the issue (our error), corrected course, and then gave me some tips to try to support our tree's recovery. Fingers-crossed the it pulls through.

Lively Oak did a superb job pruning a tree nestled in our backyard without damaging any nearby shrubs or perennials. The company was a delight to work with- attentive, profesional and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
