I am beyond frustrated with **Rooter Hero**. It has been over a month, and I am still waiting for an estimate on a plumbing line repair in my crawl space. I have called 4 to 5 times and despite my persistence, they still haven't produced a simple quote. I reached out to Rooter Hero Plumbing for purposes of getting their assistance to complete my homeowners insurance form certifying recent re-piping work done to my home. After several attempts, I have been unable to get the management of Rooter Hero to provide assistance. The low rating does not reflect dissatisfaction with their plumbing expertise, but simply with the lack of cooperation with my request.
Called them to unclog a drain. Didn’t unclog the drain and gave me a quote for 10s of thousands of dollars. Brought someone in that identified the problem and fixed it at a 10th of the cost. My new plumber told me stories how they prey on older people who don’t know better.
These guys are manipulative crooks, or at least the team we interacted with is. After spending $1,850 on a rush Sunday to power wash our sewer lateral, which they didn't clear, we were verbally quoted $45,000.00 to replace 70ft of standard residential sewer lateral. Then they kept calling, a few days later they said it would probably be $55,000.00. They would only give verbal quotes, I requested a written quote several times and they would never provide one.
