Just wanted to post about the EXCEPTIONAL experience at Rooted Mane today with Elissa. I was able to get a quick appointment (booked this weekend), she was running on time and was very efficient. She listened super carefully to what I wanted and the result is exactly what I had in mind (got a partial highlight and chopped about 8-10 inches off). Ash did an amazing job bringing my vision to life! I had made the mistake of getting highlights somewhere else, and she not only fixed the color but gave me the look I had been hoping for from the very beginning. I couldn’t be happier with the result!
I just moved back to the DMV and found Rooted Mane on Instagram and am so happy with my experience! I saw Elissa for highlights and a cut. She is a pro and my hair looks amazing - she asked lots of questions, made thoughtful suggestions, and I love my color and cut. Highly recommend the salon and Elissa!
I see Liz (the owner) for cut and color and she is a master of her craft!!! It took me a while to find someone who knew how to take care of brunettes after moving here; previous stylists kept taking me blonde despite clear photos and direction. ANYWAY- Liz is very collaborative when it comes to color, and great at making recommendations when you are not quite sure what’s next.
