I love how direct primary care has changed how I view and experience health care –emphasis on CARE. To not be beholden to the whims of "the insurance company" has enabled an environment where I finally feel I can have a relationship with my doctor based on care (not fretting over co-pays…). I can have an in-person appointment or a virtual consultation, and we can simply talk and explore, ask questions, and work to actually find solutions. I feel actually CARED for.
