After one of the big plumbing companies quoted me a massive repair bill and not a lot of specifics, I went back to the drawing board. The result was a competitor of a company (He was recently retired) that did my neighbors exit plumbing work several years ago, by their recommendation. Tim and his team, at my Woodstock home, were professional and solid all the way through with a good price, and good restoration to what seemed like a complex problem. I had my sewer line replaced when I bought my home in 2020. One unusual line from the house was accidentally missed in the original tie-in, but when the issue came to light years later, the team came out right away, dug it up, and repaired it at no cost to me. I really appreciated their honesty, responsiveness, and kindness throughout the process. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind their work like this, and I’m grateful for how they handled everything. Highly recommend!

I've worked with Root Excavation for over 20 years and find them to be honest, hard working, very competent and despite what some reviews may say, extremely professional. One reviewers comment that a water line was broken is not the fault of the excavator when they are doing a repair below the water line. Every excavator has this clause in their contracts because the CITY allows water lines to be place directly above sewer lines. Root excavation rocks! I have had them do work for me on two separate occasions, both times they went above and beyond. They are knowledgeable, easy to work with and got the job done quickly and professionally. The first time was a sewer replacement. Second time was actually a city problem, but they navigated through city bureaucracy for us. Highly recommend!
