Just yesterday I had an exceptional experience with Root. I started on a temporary-filling-leading-into-botched-root-canal adventure 7 months ago with a dental clinic that accepts MaineCare. I've been living with discomfort for that entire period, but things worsened two weeks ago when I went through a root canal which took 2.5 hours to complete and was poorly executed, resulting in even more pain. Came in for rootcanal on front upper tooth because of resorption. Did the anxiety medication program they offer. Eased a lot of my worries and they periodically checked in on me before the procedure. The actual procedure itself is similar to cavity filling. Dr did his best to make sure I was comfortable. Honestly only rough part was the novocan shot but besides that it was a quick 30-40 minute procedure. Was worried about pain but didn't need Advil or Tylenol. Received a call today to check in on me. I am beyond grateful for Root. The experience I had was top notch. All who work there have a high level of professionalism, thoughtfulness and empathize with you and your needs as a patient. I had an emergency root canal done and I thank my lucky stars for being recommended by my doctor to go to Root. Shout out to Tess and Dr. Tangredi for the service and care I received.
I was worried about my root canal, but Dr Tangredi and his staff were phenomenal. You really only feel the numbing shots, and they work together so easily it was cool to watch them work.
