Artichoke dip was salty and my carribean built up sandwich was nothing special. The chicken and waffles were good. Service could be more efficient and friendlier. Had to ask for refills and when I asked for hot sauce, you thought I had asked for a whole additional plate. Atmosphere was nice and place was cute.
bartender needs a SERIOUS attitude adjustment! espresso martini was disgustingly bitter too. she made us feel so unwelcomed & a complete bother. the hostess was also very very rude. i’ll never be coming back, food was nasty too
So I got the BYOB. Ordered eggs, sausage, bacon, ham and potatoes. Food took what felt like forever coming out and there was only like 3 tables. Food came out room temp at best. Sausage was hard and cold. She forgot the potatoes also so I had to ask for them. Ham was also room temp. Bacon tasted old. Eggs tasted like the box kind. Mikayla is an AMAZING bartender and without a doubt my favorite in all of NB! No matter how busy she is she always remembers my favorite wine. Serval weeks ago they ran out of a wine that I enjoyed she gave me my own tasting so I select another wine. She truly goes above and beyond! The staff at The Root Cellar are warm and engaging, but Anna is fantastic! It doesn’t matter if she is our waitress or working the bar she is always friendly, welcoming and engaging.
