I really wasn’t excited about going here at first. We’d had a bad experience just swimming at the beach area decades ago so I’ve never been back. I was so surprised how nice the camping area was. We went for 1 night just to try out our equipment and see if we could handle our cots and just going tent camping again after more than 35 years. It was great! Beautiful views! And very friendly staff! You can only stay 2 weeks at a time, due to federal land rules.. but this is worth the stay! Right by lake Roosevelt!
I was invited to come up to the lake with my long time friends. Did some Jet Skiing and relax time.
Best gem in AZ by our favorite lake! Great lil neighborhood. Tons of off roading close by, the lake is epic, and the history so special!
