Our front porch had a pesky slope, where the roofing had sagged unevenly over the decades, making the entire entry seem a bit unbalanced. The carpentry crew jacks up the header, replaces the damaged structural supports and levels the roof properly before laying down the new shingles. The entrance now appears majestic, balanced and wonderfully welcome when visitors arrive.

I was always staring at a faint water mark on the living room ceiling from my chair, wondering if it was an old stain or something that was getting worse below the surface. My living room is back to normal after the team came out to repair the damaged flashing and seal up the dead dips. When I finally fixed the hole and painted it, I let out a big sigh of relief.

There’s something deeply satisfying about knowing your home is completely prepared for the long winter ahead without having to lift a finger. We used to struggle with massive ice buildup along the gutters that would warp the wood fascia and make me worry about structural rot. With the new ice shield protection and proper attic venting they put in, I can just sit by the fireplace this winter and not give the roof a single thought.
