I thought roof seal sealed roofs from leaks, apparently not my house leaks because of your bad work on our roof.

Very bizarre experience. They would not provide a rough quote on the phone, despite reviewing satellite images while they were on the call with me. So a guy came around and knocked on the front window of my house, refusing to come to my door. I walked outside to meet him. Up front, he asked me if my partner was around, because whenever they gave a quote and the home owner had to ‘talk to their missus’, that meant that only 20% of the time they would get a job out of the quote. Still upset. The roof repair was OK but we were charged $17,000 for what was really a $4000 job. Its impossible to know in advance how many hours/ how complicated a job is but given we were home for the whole thing we were shocked at the charges for what turned out to be a pretty quick and simple job. Even the tradie who did it told us he would normally charge about a 25% of what was charged. AVOID!

I rang for an appointment for an inspection and quote. Very nice very polite. Refused to come out unless my wife was going to be present, They were adamant! I’ve only ever experienced this before when extremely high pressure tactics are used to sign up. I believe this is done so there’s no re course to cancel or complain as they use the tactic that we were both there and therefore understood everything when in fact it’s high pressure mumbo jumbo.Not sure if this is there reason but I suspect some high pressure tactics may be... read more
