Follow up on earlier review 3 months ago. My brake line that Ron's Truck and Auto Repair was supposed to have fixed was still leaking at the proportioning valve after they took it for a test drive last Jan. 2022. They somehow did not notice that the line was still leaking. Any brake mechanic would have noticed that the brake line was leaking both times after each repair attempt and would not have charged me for the damage that they did to my brake line while working on it. Gone down hill all of a sudden. Used to be the best repair service I have found in Champaign-Urbana, but now one of the worst. Recent experience is: they keep breaking my brake line when they fix one leak in it a new leak is happening as soon as they hand me my keys back after I pay for the work. After two repairs a third leak happens after I already paid nearly $1000 to have the leak fixed. They say "bring it back and we'll fix it." 5 STARS!! I came into Ron’s for the first time a few weeks ago. Spence helped me out when I got there, asked about problem, offered to take me to work, and was overall very nice! Ashley the owner was also so sweet as well when speaking to me about my car issues. Thank you Rons for a wonderful experience. My car is now in great shape and their prices were very affordable. Will be back!!
Wanna say a huge thank you to Spence and the other staff here at Ron's truck and auto! We were in a bit of a pinch and pressed for time to get our car fixed before leaving for our spring break trip today, but Spence got us right in checked everything out, and fixed what we needed fixed in less than 2 hrs! And the price was very reasonable. Thank you gentlemen very much! We will definitely be back to see you just hopefully not very soon lol
They do quality work at a reasonable price and are nice to deal with.
Ron's Truck and Auto Service is the best automotive repair service in Champaign-Urbana. I highly recommend them. Very honest, stand behind their work. Do great work at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a repair shop, don't look any further. This is it!
