Terrible customer service. My experience with them was i called for 2 weeks, i was told that someone would get back to me because all the techs were in the field. No return calls after leaving 4 messages with the operator. Thumbs down.
My garage door opener ceased working and in doing so threw off the garage door balance. I contacted Ron’s Garage Doors in the morning and left a message. Within a few minutes Bobby contacted me and scheduled a no cost estimate within 2 hours. He arrived shortly after that. Bobby’s pricing is fair, as he installed a new opener and re-balanced the door, all within a little over an hour. Our garage door suddenly stopped working. We thought we were being silly and it must be nothing but we didn't see why it wouldn't open. We contacted Ron’s Garage Doors and they sent Rick who came out the same day at lunchtime. He was friendly and very competent and professional and right when he walked into the garage he saw the top springs and one had snapped. Our overhead door/opener had been acting up for a few days until it finally gave out. We had a "handyman" come out to take a look and he just made it worse, but didn't mind taking our money for the house call, typical for some home services companies in Bayport! Ron came out on Sunday to determine if our cracked garage door could be repaired. Unfortunately he explained that he couldn't repair it in a way that the door will work safely and that I will have replace it. He promised to install it Monday morning and offered a senior discount and more reasonable price if we paid by check. His installer showed up early and called me in advance and asked if it is OK to come 30 minutes earlier. He installed the new garage door within 3/5 hrs and cleaned up.
