My son just had his first appointment here and I am already impressed with his counselor!
Very comforting and very soothing environment
UPDATE I initially had really unfavorable feelings toward Kuna Counseling Center after we had a rough first go with using their TBS services for support for my son who has some really some tough behavioral challenges associated with his neurodiversity. Our first set of therapists seemed rather incapable of helping us out and left us without much care for a while - but after the owner became aware of the fact that we were left in a bit of a lurch and were really unhappy, he reached back out and got us set up with a new therap... read more
We tried TBS (Therapeutic Behavioral Services) through Kuna Counseling because they are one of the few providers in the Treasure Valley. It's a relatively never service to the area - but it was recommended by our child's medication management provider because our child has challenging behaviors like impulsiveness and aggression. At first we liked our worker, but we were really turned off by an audio recording he shared of Jim, the owner in Kuna Counseling, offering his parenting advice, titled "basic parenting skills."
