We stayed here for 43 nights with our newborn while her twin brother was in the NICU. They met such practical and important needs in our time of crisis, giving us a place of shelter and rest while away from home. We will never be able to express our gratitude for this incredible organization, the support they provide is truly life changing.

My husband and I spent over 100 days at the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City in 2015 while our premature daughter was in the NICU. We felt like it was our home away from home. It was so comforting being close to the hospital so we could see our baby multiple times per day. Not only did we receive a place to rest and countless meals when we did not have time to cook, we were able to meet other couples and families who had a child in the hospital. We have stayed several times for my daughter’s monthly appointments and will soon by setting up camp for at least a month for my daughter’s transplant. The staff is so welcoming and have really become like family for us. Thank you to all who donate and serve, your generosity is a blessing!

The kindness and generosity shown to us while we were here is invaluable. We spent 40 nights under the Mac House roof while our daughter was in the NICU and PICU of the new Children's Hospital, it quickly became our second home. Marvelous staff and volunteers, full pantry, shuttle to the hospital, gave us a place to "go home" to at night. I can't say enough good things about it!
