RecommendedA wonderful place to call “home” in dire times. We were so very thankful for the Ronald McDonald house when our son was born with Pierre Robin Sequence. And there were so many great volunteers that prepared meals for us each night, we look forward to being able to do the same someday, as it was the one brief moment throughout each day that we could just breathe. This is our home away from home. We love this place, they make you feel like family. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to help you.
It’s a home away from home felt comfortable it let’s u to not have to worry about anything while child or grandchild is the hospital will go back again.
The Ronald McDonald House was a life saver when I was discharged before my newborn preemie baby was. I only had to use it for a week and it took a huge weight off my shoulders, being able to be 10 minutes away from the hospital if something happened. The volunteers were so sweet and made my mom, husband and I feel welcome and right at home. The other families were great too. Sharing their stories with you. You can really end up missing them.
We stayed at RMH in St. Louis 1997 and it was a magical place. Each evening, we spend time with stressed families who came together to share stories, tears and love over a home cooked meal from community organizations. It made a hard time bearable on so many levels; financially, emotionally and mentally. Thank you all, for every moment you make a difference in the lives of children and their families!!! ��� Happy Holidays!!!
