I "met" Dr. Kim this week (Monday 3/4/19) at Advocate Condell in Lybertyville. He saved my life: he is a gifted surgeon: miraculously, literally, he was able to implant stents on my ureters... VERY IMPORTANTLY: His personal attention at the hospital, before the surgery; and on the day he discharged me was oustanding: I told his staff that I wanted to see him at the hospital before leaving for home, and he came later in the afternoon and answer all my questions. HE is the BEST!
This practice is an administrative disaster. I needed a prescription refilled, and requested the refill on a Monday. The office sat on it until Friday. When they finally called in the refill, my insurer requested information. They said it would take another week to respond to the request. I called the on call physician seeking to have my matter expedited (it only required a certification that would take 2 seconds). No call back. My call was simply ignored. Office visit was fine the staff was friendly and courteous. I had sent medical records to him a week prior and on appointment day I spoke to the doctor about my condition and he had only received partial medical records and needed to receive them fully so he was going to call me back in a couple after looking at the completed records so he could proceed treating me. 2 weeks went by and I hadn't received a call yet so I decided to call his office to see what was going on.
