Dr. Cotterel is the ultimate professional gentleman and caring doctor. He does amazing work. A couple of years ago I suffered with foot pain for a month, and he went into the painful area and pulled a microscopic piece of glass out--Agony Over. He is also firm, recently persuaded my gently, without being a pain in the neck, to start taking blood pressure meds. It was the right call, and my other specialized sutter doctors highly agreed. I have been a patient of Dr. Cotterel for the past 28 years. He always listens quietly and carefully, asking questions to clarify my concerns. I will miss him terribly. Very few doctors have the patience that he consistently demonstrated throughout the years.
