Already diagnosed with lupus from another rheumatologist. I needed one closer to home to manage my treatment. He said I was fat and more than likely didn't have lupus. He did not want record and did bloodwork to "re diagnose" me if I had it. He also told me I dependent on steroids because I went to urgent care when I couldn't get into see my pcp 3 weeks prior due to breaking out in hives. Dr. Bates is the most caring and thorough Dr. He will continue working until he finds a solution to your problems.
Dr. Bates has been my doctor for many years. I just can’t say enough good about him! He truly cares for his patients.
Dr. Bates has been my doctor as long as I can remember. My dad came down with a mysterious illness in his 30s. Dr. Bates was able to give him the rare and elusive diagnosis of POTS. When I fell with the same illness at 17, he treated me as well when no cardiologist or neurologist had answers for us. He also diagnosed my second miscarriage, and with tears in both our eyes, he comforted me. He's looked after my entire family and never stops fighting for his patients.
Dr. Lowery did surgery on my eyes and my husbands. He does wonderful work and very Knowledgeable. I would give him six stars if they had another. I cant even begin to put into works the skill that this Dr. Has. If you need a good eye dr look no further. Sharon Wagner- Belcher
Update: His medical opinion..I did not have a condition that warranted concern. Following up with another doctor and her genuine concern for my health, I was tested and rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis were found. Testing verified this! How did he miss this? He did not follow through with the necessary sincerity on taking me, as a patient, seriously. I cancelled my appointment with him because I refuse to deal with a doctor who will not use the facts provided to help his "patients."
Dr. Brown is great! Shes personable, takes her time and makes you feel completely comfortable. Her nurse Amber is super helpful and nice as well!!
He feels that Fibromyalgia can't be treated with medicine and you can't have RA or any type of arthritis if your markers are negative. He doesn't listen and doesn't understand what you tell him. I personally feel like I wasted my time.
On my first visit Dr. McCourt came into the room and stated "I don't have time to go over your medical history.' That should have been my read flag! Every visit after that she would contradict what she had said on previous visits. When Dr. McCourt started neck injections she never spoke to me when she when come into the room. She came in gave the injections and left. The only time she spoke was when I started crying and telling her it hurt. She told me to stop talking. NO regard for the patient.
