I have learned so much from working with Kimberly. She really knows her stuff! Our neighbors garage recently burned down and unfortunately burned the siding off of our own garage in the process. If it were not for Kimberly, my husband and I would have had to pay a $1000 deductible to have our garage repaired. This is not our responsibility though as it is a liability issue. If I could give a zero star rating, I would’ve. Both Kimberly and Jeanie are extremely rude. High defensive attitude and demeanor. There was zero professionalism. They both will cut you off and speak over you. I would never recommend such an unprofessional group of individuals to anyone for insurance.
On 10/7/25 a water line to my dishwasher ruptured during the middle of the night. I woke up to a major water mess! A broken line can pump out a lot of water in a few hours. I had a considerable amount of drywall damage, ceiling tile damage and carpet damage. I called Kimberly of Ron Smith Insurance Agency of Akron when their office opened. Jeanie Hamby was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Beyond that: with insurance rates going up, I always shop for lower rates. Have yet to find any cheaper insurance, both automobile and home. Comparing coverages, deductibles and ease of doing business, Erie Insurance and Ron Smith Agency are the best.
