My broker PC, set me up with Wawanesa Insurance for home and auto last year. They decided to drop Wawanesa and were doing a transfer to Aviva. I called PC in June and told them I did not want anything to do with Aviva because of a lawsuit with them and said I was going to stay with Wawanesa. I called them and they confirmed that since I was being loyal, they could transfer my policy to a broker, I just had to have the broker send in the transfer paper.
