I purchased a Thor motorhome on 8/21/24. I traded in a 5th wheel ($52k) and a loan ($45k) for the rest of the amount for the Thor motorhome for a total of $97500 paid. My trade-in was perfect and had zero issues. I left the dealership and within 10 miles I was broken down on the side of the highway with the motorhome completely overheated. Working with Ron Hoover (west) started out on a good foot and ended in dissatisfaction with their customer service. It’s disheartening when you invest hard earned money, time, and energy. The General Manager was helpful in meeting with us and demonstrated an emphatic attitude. He attempted to “make things right”, but unfortunately, the uncaring attitude shown by some team members in Service and Sales, negated his efforts. They don't know how to properly perform the yearly maintenance on a boat they sold me. They perform unnecessary work, running up the bill. They are very expensive for the services they do perform. The yearly service should be replacing the engine oil and lower unit gear lube oil and starting the engine. To date, for 7 of these yearly services, I have paid $3,200.00.
