I took my 2018 CRV in for a check engine light. The problem: faulty Air Fuel sensor, otherwise known as the Upstream O2 sensor. The factory replacement part was over $500. The aftermarket part was @ $380. The price for the part plus labor was $848.99. I decided to buy the aftermarket part myself [oem] for $138 and replaced it in less than 20 minutes. On Saturday October 11, 2025 I dropped my car off at Ron Bouchards Honda in Lancaster Ma. due to a transmission dashboard light on the dashboard of my 2017 Honda Pilot. I was asked to call the service department back on Monday October 13 to speak with the service manager "JJ". After speaking with "JJ" he told me that the diagnosis for the transmission was that it had to be completely replaced at a grand total of $11,287.69 and that there was no repairing it.
