We were excited to see deep dish Chicago style pizza again. Romeo's has all the right ingredients in the sauce, cheese, and fillings. Delicious! But they just didn't put it together right. The pans must not be the right depth, and the crust is not pressed out on the bottom and sides. It was really just a THICK crust pizza! And the sauce and ingredients were about 1 1/2 inches from the edge. Do it right, or don't call it "Chicago Style."
Hands down, my favorite pizza in Newark. I was so excited to find a deep dish and it was delicious. We order every 2 weeks on Friday when the kids come home and they love it!
The food was amazing and the staff was professional and friendly. Best pizza I ever had.
When this placed opened the food was great now only months later the chicken wings are tiny and the pizza has went down hill. Sad
