Good - Decor - Food good and what needs be hot is hot and what needs to be cold is cold Difficult/different - Staff seems checked out and not present not motivated - fake a smile at least - Tiffany needs some work... There are only 6 or 7 covers and we have to flag waitress down. Other staff helping her with our table.
Before Macaroni Grill sold out it was a fun warm and efficient place. Then things started too degrade and menu changes demonstrated new controls trying to cut cost, service, and able to make want you want. I don't Think a place this big can be a small fixed menu place and succeed. Food is a service commodity.
This is one of my personal favorite restaurants. I love the food here. Being an introvert, I'm glad they no longer have some of the wait-staff singing at tables, now I find this place a totally comfortable environment.
I've been eating here for years and I love the food. BUT the last time I was there the waitress was so rude I'm debating on never going back. It was the most unpleasant dinner experience I've ever had. She obviosuly had something better to be doing than to be waiting on us and she made that very clear from the moment we sat down.
I don't know where to begin. I want to refrain from writing a diatribe over this experience, but I must let fellow restaurant goers know the latest and not-greatest. Reading other reviews before tells me that this place did not change at all. It is one of my worst restaurant experience EVER! Don't mistaken the quality of this location with that of others. It's only this one. Here is why: 1) 30min - 1hr food wait. When food finally arrived, and due to the wait, the temperatures were uneven. EX- pork chop was cold. 2) Food tas... read more
I have been to this Macaroni Grill a few times. I enjoy the food there immensely, but I have to downgrade the store now. I decided to order online because the last time I went to dine in, it took an hour and a half for two people to eat. They said my food would be ready at 12:12, so I arrived promptly. I knew it wouldn't be ready right on schedule seeing as it was lunch rush but I didn't anticipate to wait for an extra 20 minutes to receive COLD food. The waiters were kind enough, apologizing for taking so long but I won't b... read more
We went to this restaurant yesterday night with my family for dinner. It started with the hostess being extremely rude and not welcoming. Made us wait for 20 minutes even though the place was empty. We ordered appetizers; they were ok except our pizza was very cold (felt like a left over pizza). Food was mediocre at best and lacked freshness. My brother in law order the Salmon and it was still raw from inside. Coffee was served cold and I asked for decafe, realized he served me regular cause I couldn't fall asleep till 3 in ... read more
Food was fine, but service was poor. Took over an hour just to get through the meal and then we decided not to bother with any cake. Our server was also the bartender. When I complained to the hostess, she shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry" and walked away.
Olive Garden doesn't even compare! Although not "authentic" Italian, still very very good. Love the fresh baked bread with olive oil dipping spices and the chicken cannelloni is my favorite! Also, AWESOME baby cannolis! So until I find that authentic Italian restaurant in south FL, I'll be eating here!
