All new staff. Slow and unattentive service. Had to ask for water, bread, pepper and cheese. Waitress was also bartender but I counted at least 10 staff. My lamb was overcooked/burned. Cooks may have been newly graduated culinary staff or just inexperiened. Bread was also cold, which we had to ask for as well. Waitress never asked how things are. I have never received this lack of service before.
Tried the Mac grill on alameda for the first and last time! While the service was great I can't say the same for the food. My daughter and I ordered stuff mushrooms, salmon n chicken on a brick. Everything was bland and dripping in grease. It was a very disappointing experience for the price. When we arrived and the lot was half empty we considered going to chilis or BJs, but I thought this location would be as good as others I have tried. Boy was I wrong! Very good eggplant parm! I like to get takeout on a busy night - I always request an extra loaf of the herb bread - it makes an excellent breakfast toast. One of my favorite restaurants!
