Bad Service I've always liked pasta so I tried the Macaroni Grill at Cerritos, CA. First time I went to the location, our salads never came. I left it alone since I'm a server myself and I thought maybe the server was just busy. When the entrees came, my "make your own" pasta was missing the broccoli and mushrooms. Mistake again. I asked the server to replace it and it took another 20 minutes for the pasta to come back. good italian Romano's has a very wide selection of items on it's menu. The food is very good and the atmosphere is quite nice. the service is good and the staff is very friendly. they offer very unique and delicious desserts, that you will surely enjoy. This is a very nice restaurant.
Have been to two Romano's Macaroni Grills, one in Cerritos and the other in Los Alamitos, CA. Horrible experience in both. In Los Alamitos me and friend were seated (place not busy) waited way too long for a server to show. 10 minutes pass and no silverware or water brought to table. Asked for a server, after 5 minutes just got up and left the restaurant. Still not the worst, Cerritos restaurant topped that. Again me and a friend stopped for dinner. My husband and I visited the Cerritos location on Valentine’s Day. BIG MISTAKE! It took a little more than an hour to be seated. We were in the way of their guest seating traffic and right next to the waiter’s stations. You could hardly hear yourself talk. The lamb I ordered was so dry I had to send it back for something else. Although a chain, this Macraoni Grill is a great location with ample room, good service, and tasty food. Our party had no trouble getting a table and being served well. We enjoyed it and would come back anytime.
