We contracted Home Depot for carpet installation on the second floor of our two-story home. Home Depot, in turn, subcontracted the work to Romanoff renovations. The installation was scheduled for December 27th. On the scheduled day, two installers arrived, and we showed them all the areas that needed carpeting. I recently had a very frustrating experience with Romanoff Renovations with a backsplash installation and feel compelled to share my thoughts. The communication with management is terrible. The first installer arrived without the necessary materials, which was completely unacceptable and delayed the process. I would give a zero if that were a possible selection. Romanoff Renovations showed up at my home Monday, October 7, 2024, for a scheduled vinyl floor installation. The young man left without doing the job because of what his supervisor called "biohazard." We have three dogs, one of which urinates on the carpet in question, in our master bedroom, as a point of reference. That's a major reason why we are putting down vinyl flooring. Paid $2260 and a $35 measurement fee for them to install flooring into my motorhome. I was not told once between home Depot and Romanoff renovations that they couldn't do my install because it was a motorhome. They are terrible with communication during the whole process and I had to call them and text them to get clarification on why they wouldn't install. They never reached out to me themselves.
