Don't use Home Depot provided contractors if you don't want to get push around. They work on their times not yours. They will take other jobs and cancel yours the same day. You would have to prepare the site and take a time off for nothing. Save your time and disappointment; find your own trusted installer.
Roma off has installed carpet in two of my homes and both times they have been very professional and have done a great job. They came ready to work and worked hard the whole time they were there. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a company with great work ethics.
Ramonoff Renovations did a great job on putting in new Pergo flooring and carpet on my steps. The job was done in a timely manner and they cleaned all mess up and carried off all old materials. I would recommend them to anyone needing flooring put in their home.
Currently went through Home Depot for flooring, it was contracted out to Romanoff Renovations, floor looked nice, but the after effects of not finishing the corner rounds or the baseboards, they can't cut to a smooth finish and what they do to your baseboards are disrespectful, how can you possibly charge the type of money for installation and the customer have to paint the baseboards and cork eycorners because are instructed not to complete those areas.
