I used to love Dr Romanell until he wanted me to have my 3rd hernia repaired done roboticly. He said he would be assisting and it would take 12 hours because the thoracic surgeon was very slow and methodical. I met her several times and she never addressed my concerns. I would recommend Dr. Romanelli to anyone needing hernia surgery. Dr. Romanelli explained the procedure and recovery thoroughly to me, addressed my questions, and asked how I was doing post op.

No rave reviews for Romanelli here. Waited over an hour and he spent like only 10 minutes with me. I feel he didn’t take the time to comprehensively listen to me and understand and address my concerns. He was in and out. Waited months to even get my initial appointment! Finally, I went to another surgeon who listened to me, did further testing, and performed my surgery quickly as I was having issues that Romanelli seemed to dismiss. Don’t waste your time here.
