I used to love Dr Romanell until he wanted me to have my 3rd hernia repaired done roboticly. He said he would be assisting and it would take 12 hours because the thoracic surgeon was very slow and methodical. I met her several times and she never addressed my concerns. I went back to see him - he had interns with him and I felt he was very degrading when he was telling them about me. He was insinuating that I was a surgery seeker. I would recommend Dr. Romanelli to anyone needing hernia surgery. Dr. Romanelli explained the procedure and recovery thoroughly to me, addressed my questions, and asked how I was doing post op.
