THE FOOD WE WERE SERVED HAD MOULD ON IT. GREEN AND BLUE MOULD ON THE CHICKEN, ON TOP AND IN BETWEEN THE PIECES. This was one of the most disturbing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Extremely disappointing and concerning experience. We had been to Roman zaman several times before and had good experiences, which made what happened today even more shocking. We were a group of six and ordered several shawarma dishes. While eating the chicken shawarma, we found what appeared to be mold on the chicken. Very disappointing and concerning experience. There were six of us, and we ordered several starters and mostly the same beef and chicken shawarma dishes. While eating, my husband found a piece of chicken with unusual green discolouration and what appeared to be mold/spores on the meat. We immediately asked for the manager. The manager, took the piece to the kitchen and returned saying the owner believed it was just a piece of spice. Very disappointed with the service at the restaurant. The staff were extremely inattentive and it wasn’t even busy. Can’t get their attention and this has been a favourite restaurant of ours. The food quality was not the same as well. The flavours felt off and burnt. I’m not sure I want to dine here much anymore. I am really disappointed. The staff need training on what is hospitality. The misery shows on their face or their disinterest in attending to customer.
Me and one of my friend were visiting a place for an appointment which happened to be near this resturant. We were early, so had some time for lunch. Went to this restaurant and asked for a table of two. They took us to the end, almost at the kitchen entrance at a table of 6. So I politely asked to move us to other table.
